A Front Desk Agent is in charge of providing reception services for Guests to enhance their overall experience from check-in to check-out and carrying out audits as needed.


Responsibilities:
  • Address Guest queries promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure a smooth reception process for Guests, including check-in/out and audit procedures
  • Keep the Guest Service Manager informed of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
  • Maintain a high level of customer service consistently
  • Attend training courses as needed and support the Night Team's training efforts
  • Have knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, promotions, and general product information for daily operations
  • Optimize room occupancy and employ upselling techniques for hotel services
  • Adhere to correct procedures for handling foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash as per hotel credit policy
  • Follow hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws
  • Abide by policies and procedures when using front of house equipment and property management systems
  • Uphold company brand standards
  • Assist other departments when necessary

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Dedication to delivering excellent customer service
  • Exceptional grooming standards
  • Calm, efficient, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive demeanor when assisting a Guest
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in IT
It would be beneficial to have the following:
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Front Office/Concierge background in hotel, leisure, or entertainment sectors
  • Conflict resolution skills
