Job Requirements:

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Finance Control, who will manage all activities in the accounts payable function.

The role holder will ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintain accurate records and control reports.

In addition, the scope of work ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintaining accurate financial records and control reports in compliance with financial policies and procedures for the company and its subsidiaries.

The role holder will be tasked with reviewing monthly payable account schedules, including but not limited to, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other liabilities.

Additionally managing, company funds, overseeing the allocation of cash balances, loans, disbursements, and investments, reviewing forecasted balances, examining, and correcting any shortages or overages.

The role holder will ensure financial balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations are accurate and to provide a pro-active, efficient, timely and relevant finance service.


The role holder will also be accountable for managing the fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), delivering tax reporting, ensuring tax compliance, and identifying risk, minimizing tax liabilities and compliance issues.


Education/Certifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • ACCA, CMA, or other accounting professional certification

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably within the financial services or payments industry
  • Experience working with a multicurrency finance department is valuable
  • Within the financial services industry, preferably within payments

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:


  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, and good knowledge of ERP System
  • Knowledge of taxation compliance in the Middle East
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ambitious and selfmotivated
  • Strong ability to be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to consistently meet all deadlines.
