1.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
1.1. To ensure Bank and GL balance accounts reconciliations are done by the RPL accountant on time and to get it authorized by the Manager-Finance.
1.2. To ensure all ledger Name and grouping/chart of accounts are as per standard and reviewed.
1.3. To assist the Manager-Finance to ensure month end and year-end closing processes.
1.4. To assist on the Statutory and internal audit and ensure timely submission of documentation by each location.
1.5. To ensure proper cost allocation and to enable the maximum drill-down results on the P&L.
1.6. To ensure the closing check lists are followed by the RPL Accountants.
1.7. To ensure inter unit transaction and related accounting and assist the Manager-Finance in ensuring the timely submission of related reports.
1.8. To assist the Manager-Finance for reporting on any other ad-hoc matters that may arise from time to time.
2. Major items are as follows to divide on daily/weekly/monthly basis;
2.1.
Daily Tasks;
2.1.1. Daily follow up with Accounts team on
Bank recon
Any pending action items.
2.2.
Weekly Tasks;
2.2.1. Weekly Bank balances
2.2.2. Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable review with RPL Accountants
2.2.3. Review that the Supplier posting are done on a daily basis or not and ensure the GRNs are submitted within 3 working days from the supply of items to the floor.
2.2.4. Weekly Payment review with RPL Accountants and submit for approval,
2.3.
Monthly Tasks:
2.3.1. Follow up on closing, check list status to review with RPL accounts to ensure timely submission of reports.
2.3.2. VAT booking review and validate the statement for filing VAT returns on time.
2.3.3. Review closing reports with the respective RPL accountant and to ensure timely submission.
Location wise with Actual Budget Variance and comments.
2.3.4. Submit COGS Analysis report and allocation taking input from the respective accountant.
2.3.5. Submit Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable summary with the Bank Balance.
2.3.6. Payroll review and coordinate on timely processing.
2.3.7. Power BI monthly data to share and confirm.

Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (required)
- Tally: 3 years (required)
