Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.

  • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising drivers, and allocating tasks.
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinating with production team to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery and accommodations.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and storing processes.
  • Training new employees in the logistic and purchasing process and how to loading/offloading and storing materials.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Implementing and overseeing security operations.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Ensuring the safety of workers and provide all safety requirements.
  • Motivating and disciplining staff.
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
  • Assisting with deliveries where required.
  • Control First Aid Box and handling medication for workers.

Salary:
BD BD per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
