Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all financial accounting and reporting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support business operations and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to monitor performance against targets.
  • Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, including forecasting and investment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and prioritize competing demands effectively.
