Job Description:
Civil Engineer - Maintenance

  • Coordinate and participate in building Civil maintenance activities, including painting, carpentry, restorations, wooden flooring, overall finishing looks of buildings, flats, villas, roads and common areas.
  • Coordinate and participate in MEP building maintenance activities as well as tracking and managing warrantees for all equipment.
  • Undertake emergency and planned maintenance and repairs within capability; respond effectively and maintain a log of such works.
  • Maintain all equipment, tools and plant in a safe and good condition; liaising with external suppliers and services where necessary.
  • Prepares and implements preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Anticipates issues, prioritizes and plans the team for a proper action plan and ensure that they are completed within set deadlines.
  • To draw up maintenance schedules and set routine programs of work for cleaning staff, premises and grounds maintenance staff to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, upkeep and safety of all buildings and premises.
  • Oversee contractors engaged for facility renovation projects.
  • Work programs to promote excellent customer service, effective response times and provide expert insights into general maintenance support issues.
  • And any other activities that your manager sees necessary to maintain the proper aesthetic look of the island.
