    Job Title:

    The Manager of Digital Solutions is responsible for managing and enhancing digital applications across the organization.

    This role encompasses the development, deployment, and maintenance of diverse applications and integrations, leveraging technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform and Azure.

    • 1. Manage and Enhance Digital Applications
      • Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of digital applications, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
      • Manage workflows, user access, and system configurations to optimize functionality and security.
      • Oversee the delivery of training programs and user support initiatives, ensuring faculty and staff are equipped to effectively utilize digital tools and systems.
    • 2. Develop and Implement Digital Solutions
      • Design, develop, and deploy custom digital solutions to address user and organizational requirements.
      • Maintain integrations and ensure seamless data flow across applications and systems.
      • Monitor and update systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with institutional policies.
    • 3. Ensure Data Governance and Security
      • Implement and maintain robust data governance practices, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
      • Manage access controls and user permissions to maintain data security and integrity.
    • 4. Optimize Digital Infrastructure and Processes
      • Analyze usage patterns and resource allocation to identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.
      • Regularly review digital systems to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with operational goals.
    • 5. Provide Technical Leadership and Support
      • Act as a technical resource for faculty and staff, addressing issues and providing guidance on the effective use of digital tools.
      • Mentor team members to build technical expertise and foster innovation in developing solutions.
    • 6. Contribute to Strategic IT Initiatives
      • Collaborate on the development and refinement of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
      • Support the institution's strategic goals by aligning digital solutions with organizational needs and objectives.

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
      • A graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
      • Professional certification in a related field is desirable.
      • Minimum of 6 years of experience in information technology management, preferably in an academic or higher education setting.
      • Strong technical knowledge of software applications, database systems, and security protocol.

      • Strong communication and relationship building skills with peers, leadership, and external constituents, including the business community.
      • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in information technology.
      • Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously.
