Job Title:
OSP/ISP Construction Technical Support
Location:
NSA, Bahrain
Security Clearance:
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
_ Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required._
Responsibilities:
The position shall plan and prepare drawings for new, and removal or rearrangement of existing, overhead or underground lines, cables, and conduits to obtain optimum and economical utilization of communications facilities.
- Shall have technical documentation skills.
- Shall have knowledge of some Phone installer work.
- Shall have experience installing outside and interior copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames, lightning protection, and supporting ground and power connections.
- Shall have experience installing cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Shall have seven (7) years related work experience.
- Shall have two (2) years of experience in a military environment.
Required certifications include:
- BICSI or similar certification
Education:
- Associate's degree in a Scientific or Technical Discipline preferred OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
