  • Maintenance of IER boardingpass , Baggage tag printer & BoardingGate Reader
  • Maintaining BRS server (UltraTrak 12.0.6) ,Field testing for BRS Wifi
  • Maintaining SITA TXT 8 Server.(22 clients)
  • Managing DCS for All Airlines CUTE system (Ultra Electronics Airport system)
  • Assisting in developing and capacity planningfor meeting future desktop hardwareneeds
  • Conduct research on desktop productsin support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
  • Write technicalspecifications for purchaseof PCs, desktop hardware and related products.
  • Responsible for computer hardwarebuilds and maintaining inventory for computersready to deploy
  • Responsible for tracking hardwareinventory per divisionpolicies
  • Analyzing, evaluating and diagnosing technicalproblems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software,hardware, printers, Internet,email, databases, operating systems and security systems

 

Position: DCS Technician(Departure Control System & Desktop / Client Support Technician) Job Descriptions:

Main role is to support the businessunits in Traffic, Aircraft Catering,Cargo (Import/Export), Aircraft Engineering computing, networkingand systems with multiple operatingsystems,


 

hardware/software, printers, servers,backups and configurations, also provides troubleshooting and fault-finding servicesfor airlines applications locally up to hosts and to SITA communication.

Analyze reported incidentsand provide users with solutionsto enable them to resume their work within minimaldisruption as per agreed SLA.

Identify recurring problemareas, articulate trends for root cause analysis and providinginformation to problemmanagement. Ensure that the deployedPC's, printers and servers meet the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security performance and reliability. Resolvingclients/printers hardware, software,applications and network issues complementing by BAS Help Desk, AirlinesIT Helpdesk and SITA support centre.
