Accounts Manager
Location: Bahrain
Nationality: Open to all
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within CBB-regulated entities, BSC, ADGM, or WLL structures in Bahrain and demonstrate a high level of financial, regulatory, and leadership expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) regulations and relevant financial standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure accurate tax, VAT, and statutory filings in line with local regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and strategic insights.
Requirements:
- Certified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) – mandatory.
- Minimum 7–10 years of accounting and finance experience in Bahrain.
- Proven experience with CBB-regulated companies, BSC, ADGM, or WLL entities.
- Strong knowledge of Bahrain financial regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
