I am a final year law student at the University of York. My final year optional modules are Legal Clinic, Civil, Employment and discrimination, and Legal Technology. 

In my first term of 3rd year I took part in the optional clinic module where we were given the opportunity to deal with real cases; The cases I took part in were regarding property law and family law..

The University of York Law Schools uses problem based learning for their program. This means that we are put in student law firms (SLFs) and given hypothetical cases to research and discuss. I believe that this has improved my practical legal skills, as well as my research and communication skills.
