A young energetic qualified & experienced profession with well- developed Quantity Surveying and interpersonal skills, coupled with experience in professional practices wish to gain more exposure, where my skills will make a positive contribution to achieving the ultimate objectives of the organization. My career goals are to use the knowledge, skills, and experience I have gained so far, especially for the benefit of my employer and the company, to improve my knowledge in the process and seek innovative positions.

During my employment in the past 12 years of experience in Sri Lanka in the field of Quantity Surveying in the construction industry with proficiency in all aspects of Pre-Contract & Post Contract duties on experience in CIDA conditions of contract, FIDIC conditions of contract, and methods of measurements SMM7 & CESMM3 and also with good expertise in using software like AutoCAD, MS Office, and e-mail & Internet. I also state that in my service period I have effectively performed the below-mentioned duties.

Preparation of preliminary activities of a project like Mobilization activities, Construction Program, Project budget, Cash Flow Statement, etc.

Identification of variations, Claims, and notifications.

Preparation and Submission of the Monthly interim payment application

Preparation of all the reconciliation reports like Cost value reconciliations, and material reconciliations. 

Risk and value management, and cost control functions.

Supporting my superior in administering contract correspondences and contract administration.

Contractual Claim evaluation meetings, site meetings, progress meetings, and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly progress.

All the Sub- contract administration handling includes preparation of agreements, take- off quantities, preparation of BOQ packages, gathering quotations, negotiation, identifying variation works, performing the joint measurement, and certifying of sub-contractor’s payment application.

Estimating site construction requirements, Evaluating the new rate analysis for variations & Provisional Sum Items.

I have completed my LEVEL 5 BTEC HND in QS & CE program at the British College of Applied Studies (Sri Lanka) Certificate awarded by Edexcel International, Edexcel Registration No: BP74336, (UK) (Graduated: November 2011)
