company policies regarding drink recipes,
ingredients, and preparation methods
Training and supervising bar staff in order
to ensure that they are knowledgeable
about all aspects of serving liquor and
cocktails
Maintaining inventory of alcoholic
beverages and non-alcoholic mixers to
ensure that all bar supplies are available
when needed
Preparing and serving alcoholic drinks
according to recipes and instructions
provided by management
Ensuring that all glassware and bar
equipment are clean and well-maintained
at all times
Handling customer complaints or concerns
regarding service or drink quality in a
courteous manner
Collecting payment for drinks at the time of
service, or processing payment at the end
of the shift if using a cash register system
Serving non-alcoholic beverages such as
juices, soft drinks, and bottled water
Managing the bar’s inventory by ordering
liquor, beer, and other beverages directly
from suppliers
