Nature of work:
Responsible for planning and implementing safety measures for computer networks.
Installation of security software and update virus protection systems.
Creating Active Directory for the users and updating account expiry if required
Creating/Resetting the passwords of users via active directory
Updating user roles and other various attributes whenever necessary
Training the users in security system procedures
Maintaining antivirus presence across networks
Perform regular security tests and communicate to the rest of the organization how to handle security system procedures.
Ensure that ITD assets are insured at a level that is considered to avoid any risk of losing or damaging the assets.
Conducting annual checkups and inventory of Ministry of Works and inspecting the condition of all IT peripherals.
Works in teams with other engineers to develop software solutions
