    Job Summary

    • Teach graduate courses in ecology and management of urban ecosystem (NREDE 737), society and environment (NREES 622), environment and sustainable development (NREEM 532), environmental economics (NREEM 525), and urban environment system (NREES 534).
    • Supervise master and doctorate degrees thesis in the specified domain.
    • Develop integrated research in the specified themes and issues of urban environment and sustainable development.
    • Establish training and workshop programs in urban planning, and management of urban environment.
    QualificationPh.D. from a reputable university in one of the following Environmental Science specializations:
    • Urban ecosystem
    • Environmental risk assessment
    • Human settlements and sustainable cities
    • Urbanization and sustainable development (social and economic aspects)
    Preferred Qualifications & ExperienceCandidates applying for these positions should fulfill the following criteria:
    • No less than eight years of experience after receiving the Ph.D. in one of the corresponding specialized fields.
    • International publication track in the corresponding fields.
    • Teaching experience in related fields at the postgraduate level.
    • Proven record of supervising Master/Doctorate Degree's thesis in the fields of specialties.
    • Experience in the management and implementation of related research projects.
    • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
